Matthew and Angel Taumua recently became the lead pastors for Midway Samoan Assembly of God on February 2019.

Prior to their new leadership roles, Matt served as the Assistant Pastor at Samoan Christian Fellowship in Des Moines, WA under the leadership of Superintendent Tu’ugasala & Julie Fuga. He also served as the Youth Director for the Northwest Samoan Section ‘Fusion’ Youth for a few years, taught several courses at the NW Samoan Section Berean Bible School and is actively involved and currently serving as the District Youth Director of the Samoan District Council USA.

His wife Angel Taumua is a pastor’s daughter from Auckland, New Zealand. She has served most of her life in her local church at Glen Eden Samoan AOG under the leadership of her parents Pastor Fa’amanu & Seu Lalotoa-Peniata as a worship leader, youth leader and Sunday school teacher. She also served as the secretary for the Auckland Samoan Section AOG Youth ministry for a few years.

Together they are excited to serve God and to fulfill His purposes in their new role as Lead Pastor at Midway Samoan AG. The Midway Samoan AG family is just as excited to have them, and we look forward to all that God has in store for His church. Matt and Angel are blessed with their special gift from God – their one and only son Judah Fa’amanu Taumua.
